Experimental series, expert collage, portraiture and documentary work. Black and white. Vintage glass.
SELF PORTRAIT, 2026
REBEL SHUTTER began in 2007 as a refusal to let the world pass by unnoticed. And uncover things that perhaps are meant to remain hidden.
What started as typical, observational black-and-white work has gradually opened into something more deliberate and unsettled. Alongside classic portraiture and documentary projects, personal series often examine transformation, control, and the moments when the self becomes unreliable. When something that can't be named manifests itself. When we emotions become tactile.
The constant remains the same: vintage glass, and images that prefer to leave questions rather than answers. Creative staging, in-camera mood building, distortion and practical effects are used when the idea demands them. Years of experience in digital graphics allow to blend and mix the unthinkable. Nothing remains hidden.
“Photographs should make you stop scrolling and feel something you can’t quite name.”
Select prints are available directly. A limited number of personal commissions and editorial assignments are taken each year.
