THE PHOTOGRAPHER

A quiet
rebellion.

I don’t chase trends. I chase light, shadow, and the true moments that slip between them.

SELF PORTRAIT, 2023 — VINTAGE 50MM

REBEL SHUTTER began in 2007 as a personal refusal to let the world pass by unnoticed.

Starting with cheap digital compact cameras, then working exclusively in black and white with vintage lenses, I slow down time. Each frame is an act of patience — waiting for the right light, the honest expression, the moment when architecture feels alive or a stranger’s face tells an entire story.

There is no staging. No heavy post-processing. Just film-inspired digital capture, respect for the negative space, vintage lenses, and deep trust in the power of a single, well-seen moment.

“The best photographs are the ones that make you stop scrolling and feel something you can’t quite name.”
— REBEL SHUTTER

My work is always done with intention of capturing the essence and the soul of the subject. Select prints are available directly. I also take on a limited number of personal commissions and editorial assignments each year.
